Thank you for sharing this devotional Pastor Chuck! As an Anglican priest myself, it warms my heart to know that others in the body of Christ recognize our "heroes". May all who read this be encouraged to surround themselves with brothers who will encourage, exhort, and comfort! Gene Sherman - St. Barnabas Church, Bay Village Ohio.

Rev. Larin R. Kerr

John Donne certainly knew how to survive in a frightening world. Relationships based on service as Jesus taught. Chuck you are so accurate in depicting our current frightening world in your 5/31 blog "Can You Name Five? Was at my younger daughter's home last night and my granddaughter was either on her phone texting or wanting to control the TV with HER game controler. Supper was the only time for conversation.
A PERSONAL WORD TO CHUCK:
I listened to Insight for Living this AM [KCIS`Seattle]. I've been teaching the Bible for 60 years and I've never heard or read any clearer introduction to the Bible in such a concise and pointed presentation. Ordered 3 copies of "A Symphony for the Soul" so I can keep at least 2 copies in circulation. GREAT intro! THANK YOU! >a missionary emeritus still teaching God's Word

Thanks,
But,I'm already weird. Of course, God has been known to use cracked pots. They may not hold water but they can still hold something; right?
You should let me share my story with you sometime. I quarentee, that you won't be bored.
Carl
