Today we visited Capernaum with the Sky Blue Bus 12.
Capernaum served as Jesus's base of operations for much of His earthly ministry. During His lifetime, Capernaum was a bustling city where the shouts of international merchants and the smell of fresh-caught fish were signs of everyday life.
Jesus healed several people in Capernaum, including Peter's mother-in-law. It's hard to describe what it's like to stand at a place where miracles have been performed by God Himself on earth. My faith has been "grounded" in a new way. Literally!
